Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On your arrival, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to Bwindi National park in Uganda, with a stopover at the equator for photography and in Mbarara town for lunch. Continue with the scenic drive to Kabale town, also known as the Switzerland of Africa reaching in the evening for a check in at your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp (Luxury)/ Silverback Lodge (Mid range)/Buhoma community bandas (Budget).

Day 2: First Gorilla tracking and nature walk.
In the morning, assemble at the park headquarters upon with your packed for briefing from the park rangers about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Proceed for the memorable adventure in the forest, gorilla trekking may take 2-8 hours depending on the movement of these apes in their natural habitat. Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour, then return to the park headquarters and relax a bit. In the evening, you may go for a nature walk in the nearby Batwa community, where you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp (Luxury)/ Silverback Lodge (Mid range)/Buhoma community bandas (Budget).

Day 3: Second Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest
You will wake up for a worm breakfast which will be followed by a second gorilla tracking experience and this time round, a different gorilla group! Different from the one tracked on the previous day. On return from the tracking, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the world’s fresh water lakes, free of Bilharzia, where you will have dinner and overnight at Acadia cottages/Bunyonyi overland camp.

Day 4: Transfer to Kampala.
After breakfast, you will have a tremendous boat ride along the lake and rotate around the many islands on the lake and have a scenic view of the well terraced hills around the lake. Then afterwards set off for your journey back to Kampala with stopovers for photography and lunch reaching in the evening for your transfer either at your hotel or to the airport for your departure flight.
