Lake Nakuru National Park is 188sq.kms and a home to not only the pink flamingos but also, buffaloes, waterbucks, reedbucks, warthogs, leopards.

Lake Nakuru National Park features among the leading birding spots in Kenya, East Africa and inhabits over 450 bird species. The scenic birder’s paradise hosts important birds including ostriches, sooty falcons, Abyssinian thrush, European rollers, maccoa ducks, lesser kestrels, greater blue eared starling, vultures, flamingos, crab plovers etc.

Masai Mara National Reserve/Mara Reserve lies in the South-western part of Kenya and it is one greatest destinations in the world. Maasai Mara is a home to more than 95 mammal species, 500 bird species and other reptiles.

The reserve prides itself as a home to wildebeests with wildebeest migration often witnessed from July, August, September and October; big 5 game buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards. Maasai Mara also hosts giraffes, antelopes, zebras and others.

Day 1: Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park Kenya is geographically perched in the Central part of Kenya to start your 4 days Nakuru & Masai Mara tour. En-route road trip includes enjoying the breathtaking view of the great rift valley. You will spend a full day enjoying wildlife viewing with likely sightings ranging from gazelles, leopards, lions, buffaloes, hyenas, giraffes, vervet monkeys, leopards and others.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru game drive & Masai Mara

Breakfast early still in your lodge at Nakuru National Park and after, exit for Masai Mara National Reserve. Driving from Lake Nakuru NP to Masai Mara National Reserve will take about 5 hours with en-route game drive.

Get to Mara Reserve early, check in at your lodge to have refreshments and delicious lunch. In the afternoon, expect to go for an afternoon/evening game drive. The likely wildlife to come across include buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, birds and others.

Day 3: Full day at Masai Mara- Kenya

A full day at Masai Mara starts early morning after breakfast and you board a 4WD vehicle for first game drive. Have a pack of lunch, water because you will have a long day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve. On Mara game drive, enjoy sight of buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, jackals and birds.

Settle for a remarkable picnic lunch and refreshment in the bush. After, proceed to the Mara River where a huge profusion of hippos and Nile crocodiles etc. If time allows, the next visit will be at Maasai village for a thrilling cultural experience, dances, music performances, learn their traditions, cultures and practices.

Day 4: Departure

After a hot cup of tea or coffee, leave Masai Mara 5-6 hours’ drive and in 4×4 drive vehicle, enjoy mesmerizing view of rift valley escarpment and surrounding areas en-route. Lunch will be had upon arrival at Nairobi city.
