Congo is one of the wildlife protection areas in Africa that keeps wildlife and treasures it. This area consists of national parks gazetted to help in the conservation of the endangered animals which include; Dryas monkey, Thollon’s red colobus, leopard, long-tailed pangolin, giant pangolin, tree pangolin, Angolan slender mongoose, aquatic genet, hippopotamus, the African golden cat, bushpig, yellow-backed duiker, sitatunga, okapi, bushbuck, water chevrotain. These are the national parks that Congo has; Upemba National Park‎, Virunga National Park‎, Garamba National Park, Lomami National Park and more.
