Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel, your driver guide representing our company will pick you up for a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The drive to Bwindi from Kampala is roughly 10 hours via Masaka, Mbarara, Ntugamo and Kabale districts. This full day drive is a great chance to explore other interesting features along your way to Bwindi Forest. Stop at the equator for photographs and lunch break in Mbarara city. Arrival time in Bwindi Forest will be in the evening.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

The great day to see mountain gorillas is today. Wakeup very early, enjoy heavy breakfast and transfer to the park for pre gorilla trekking briefing. You will then start a hike into the jungle searching for the endangered primates. Trekking time can go for between 2-7 hours based on the location of gorillas that day. The time to spend in the jungle also depends on your physical fitness and hiking abilities. The actual time to spend with gorillas is an hour from the time you set your eyes on these endangered species. The trek through the jungle is also chance to see other animals and birds, which live there. A face-to-face encounter with gorillas is reviewed as the best wildlife experience in the world, which attracts mot travelers to Africa. The experience is the number one activity in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth & Game Viewing

Have an early morning cup of fee and leave Bwindi Forest headed for Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s second largest park. The drive through local communities of Kabala and Kanungu is you chance to interact with local people on your way. You will connect to QENP through Ishasha sector in the southern region of the park. Ishasha is home to the famous tree-climbing lions seen up in the acacia and fig trees. Do not miss taking a picture of the king of the jungle resting or feasting in the trees above you. Check into your lodge and refresh. In the evening, go for game viewing to see animals feeding before night rests. Expect to see numerous wild animals including Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffalos, Bushbucks, Uganda Kobs, Hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, mangoose, Hyenas, and Topis among others. Queen Elizabeth is believed to host over 2500 elephants and 5000 hippos, 95 mammal and 600 bird species. Spend the rest of the night at your lodge

Day 4: Boat cruise & Departure

After morning breakfast, go for a breath taking 2 hours boat cruise at kazinga channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake Gorge. The cruise offers you fresh breeze, fresh airs and scenic views of the entire park. The banks of the river shelter birds such as African Kingfisher, African Fish eagle, Ibises, Yellow billed stork, Pelicans, Saddle billed stork, Jacana, Long tailed Cormorants, Pied Kingfisher, Common Ringed Plover and African Skimmer among others. Still at the boat cruise, you will see water animals including crocodiles, hippos, and monitoring lizards at the riverbanks. Thereafter, drive out of Queen Elizabeth National Park transferring to Kampala for your departure flight.
